National Water Research Institute Fellowships
Applications are now being accepted for graduate fellowship funding for
the 2008/2009 academic year. The deadline for fellowship applications is
March 1, 2008.
NWRI offers fellowship awards of up to up to $10,000 a year to graduate
students (Masters or Ph.D.) at U.S. universities conducting research in
the areas of water resources and treatment. Research must pertain to
NWRI's mission, which is to create new sources of water through research
and technology and to protect the freshwater and marine environments.
In addition, a special NWRI-AMTA Fellowship for Membrane Technology will
be available to students whose research pertains to the advancement of
membrane technologies in the water, wastewater, or water reuse industries.
This fellowship awards $10,000 a year for 2 years. Funding is provided by
the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA).
